Welcome to the Handyperson Services homepage.
For many older people, affording repairs and finding a trustworthy, competent builder are major worries. The significant increase in home ownership amongst lower income householders is resulting in a growth in the need for affordable help with small repairs and minor adaptations.
National Government has allocated £33 million to fund handyperson services in every ‘top tier’ (Unitary or County) Local Authority in England for the years 2009-10 and 2010-11.
