Welcome to the Housing Action homepage

Older people’s housing action is an initiative which aims to encourage and support action by older people’s groups to improve housing and related services for an ageing population.

It can offer a range of information, from good ideas checklists to guides to running interactive housing events for older people.

For the North and Midlands Regions there is currently a Housing Action Support officer available to work with local older people’s groups who want to make a difference in their local area. She can also advise strategists and planners on matters relating to housing and older people.

Early in 2008 we expect to have a person in post to cover the four Southern Regions.
