Welcome to the Learning Disabilities homepage.
Increasing numbers of older people with moderate or mild learning disabilities are living independently in homes which they own.
The majority receive little or no support and may only come to the attention of local services and agencies when a housing crisis occurs.
In order to improve the support that is available locally to this group of older people Care & Repair England has established the ‘In Our Own Homes’ project.
