Join in the Debate

Welcome to the debating forum set up for the "SHOULD I STAY OR SHOULD I GO?” national Programme.

The Programme was established in 2002 and is co-ordinated by Care & Repair England to stimulate the development of local ‘housing options’ services for older people.

WELCOME - You are invited to share your ideas and raise questions for discussion with other Should I Stay or Should I Go website users about housing options services for older people.  Practical examples of good practice would be particularly welcomed.  We hope that you will also want to contribute your thoughts on local, regional and national developments relating to the housing and support needs of older and disabled people.

When you join the SISOSIG group you will be able to join in the debate by sending and receiving email messages to all group members.

Care & Repair England’s  “SHOULD I STAY OR SHOULD I GO?”  national Programme is supporting, monitoring and evaluating a small number of local demonstration "housing options" projects for older people. The Programme is also developing a range of service models and an evidence base for use by policy makers in the housing, health and social care fields.

We hope that this Debating Forum will enable practitioners from a variety of settings to raise issues, which will influence the development across the country of "housing options" advice for older people.

The forum works as an email group, which has been established by Care & Repair England on smartgoups.com. To join the group you need to register your email address and your own password with smartgroups.
